OpenFront Mobile App, Download, and APK
Play OpenFront on Android or iPhone in your browser, add a Home Screen shortcut, or choose the official Steam desktop version. No APK is needed for web play.
Choose your device and start playing
OpenFront runs in your browser. You do not need an APK to use the official web game.
Play in the official browser game- Android: open the game in your browser. If its menu offers Install or Add to Home Screen, you can add a shortcut; playing in the tab also works.
- iPhone / iPad: open the game in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then launch the new icon for a view without the address bar.
- Computer: play in the browser or open the official Steam listing. Steam is the desktop route, not a phone installer.OpenFront on Steam · desktop
Start on the official site
Open openfront.io in your phone’s browser to play. You do not need to download an APK for the web game.
On iPhone or iPad, use Safari’s Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. Launch the new icon to play without the browser’s address bar. This is a shortcut to the web game; it does not install a separate App Store game.
On Android, you can keep playing in the browser tab. If the browser offers Install or Add to Home Screen, use that option for a convenient launcher. The label and availability depend on your browser.
For a computer, the official homepage also links to OpenFront on Steam. That is a desktop option, not an Android or iPhone installer. Browser play and the Steam listing are different entry routes; check the store’s requirements before choosing the desktop edition.
Start with a practice match before joining a crowded public lobby. Follow the touch controls guide for taps, panning, pinch zoom and the action menu, or the first-match tutorial for your opening decisions.
Looking for an APK? The browser route works without one. A similar name on a download site does not establish an official connection; follow platform links from the official game.
